Kevin is an all-around, far-out, intellectual guy who converses on nearly any subject eloquently and plays a pretty screaming guitar, too. He pursued a typical approach to music, trashing piano after four years of lessons at a young age and getting a six-string and amp turned up to eleven in the garage. He learned to cover all the heavies: Rush, Zeppelin, and Sabbath, but he just happened to be into Lynrd Skynrd and the Eagles too. His playing with The BogaTones incorporates elements of many different styles of playing into a style that is ultimately his own, and a major factor in establishing the The BogaTones sound. He also puts the piano lessons to use onstage and in the studio at times with occasional keyboard parts, sings backup and lead, and plays the fiddle whilst no one is afoot. He has three Fender Stratocasters in his collection (being a certified "Fender Hound") along with an Ovation acoustic, Ibanez 12 string, Washburn classical and a BC Rich. He enjoys playing his Stratocasters through his new toy which he aptly named "The Pig". Its a Fender Pro Tube Pro Reverb. Pick one up and move it and you will understand why!
